One-on-One Pen To Paper Author Mentor Programs
The Pen To Paper Authors Mentoring programs focus on the long-term process of completing a specific written project you intend to publish. Together we create a unique working relationship built on trust, respect, and the love of writing.
Writing a book is a commitment that is both rewarding and challenging.

- Help to aliviate the feeling of isolation (writers sit for long periods of time and often feel disconnected)
- Help maintain a consistant voice, point of view, and timeline.
9-Week Mentoring Program
Enrollment Process for Qualification:
- One 30-minute complimentary meet and greet phone call session to ensure our personalities mesh and we can build a healthy working relationship
- Submit a sample page of current project (double spaced) for review
Program Includes:
- Nine weekly scheduled Zoom video conference calls
- One follow-up email per week after call
- First round of developmental editing (up to 30,000 words/120 pages*) followed with a one-hour Zoom video conference call to review edits
*Additional editing services available upon request.
6-Month Flexible Mentoring Program
Enrollment Process for Qualification:
- One 30-minute complimentary meet and greet phone call session to ensure our personalities mesh and we can build a healthy working relationship
- Submit a sample page of current project (double spaced) for review
Program Includes:
- Twelve Zoom conference video calls scheduled when needed (not to exceed two meetings per month)
- One follow-up email after scheduled appointment
- First round of developmental editing (up to 30,000 words/120 pages*) followed with a one-hour Zoom video conference call to review edits

Genres
A memoir focuses on pivotal moments that communicate a life lesson or specific event to the readers about the author.
Self-help books encourages personal improvement and confidence in the elements for a healthier life.
Historical Fiction & Non-Fiction are based in a specific time period with a significant historical event as the backdrop.
Within Action & Adventure books the characters are typically involved in exciting and usually dangerous activities and adventures.
Cindy is much more than an editor; she has been my trustee guide and confidant over the past three years while writing my second book, Guided by Love. Developmental Editing
You worked hard to compose your book and you’re ready to take it to the next level. Together we’ll go beyond finding spelling errors, locating extra spaces between words, misaligned paragraphs, and other elements that create an inconsistent look and feel to the project. We will:
- Verify storyline, voice, and message consistency
- Assist the storyline to evolve (if necessary)
- Suggest edits to the content
