The Alchemy of writing a book begins the moment you put pen to paper.
Within the writer’s pen (and keyboard) lies the power to paint our authentic voices on the canvas of written art.
Your Story Matters
I cannot say it enough—your story matters. Self-doubt and imposter syndrome plague many creative souls and keep us (and our stories) hidden from sight.
What could you accomplish if you embraced, without a shadow of a doubt, that your story matters?
Your Words Have Power
The thoughts we maintain and the words we use to express ourselves possess energy. The words we use in everyday conversations reflect the level of harmony we are experiencing and influence our sense of wellbeing.
What do you tell yourself when you sit down to write? Are you kind or cruel?
When share with someone that you are a writer, how do you feel?
Consider the energy and tone used to relay your voice.
Creating A Community For Writers
This vision is to empower and elevate creative souls by providing a community to write and support in expressing their voices. I embrace the role of a wayshower, guiding individuals towards the untapped reservoirs of their creativity.
The Path to Pen to Paper Writers Circle
As the publisher of Elements For A Healthier Life Magazine, I found myself guiding contributing writers to trust their intuition and write content from their heart. The Integrative Nutrition Health Coach education I received became the foundation of Elements For A Healthier Life. It was a platform for coaches and community leaders to share pearls of wisdom and professional insights.
Over time, the virtual assistant services I offer naturally expanded to include story development, proofreading, and editing client’s written projects. This led me to offer group coaching sessions and creating handouts for writers to expand their creativity.
Soon after, the Pen to Paper Press™ Podcast followed. The first episode broadcast on February 3, 2021, with Barb Parcells as my first guest. The conversations centered on writing, editing, publishing, and marketing. We explore insights ranging from overcoming writer’s block to self-editing to getting books into the hands of readers.
How do you want you, and your story, to be seen? It’s not about you being seen, but how your art is accessible to others.
Your story matters. Your words have power. It’s time, creative one, to vocalize what you have hesitated to share with the world.
